6 inch piece, bracket, filter, one large bolt, 2 small allen bolts, powder coating and CNC MAF flange. It adds up. For RRM , we are a real shop not a website. We pay taxes, Workers Comp, insurances etc..... It is all a part of business. At least it is cheaper that those 6 inch AEMs, INJENs etc.... Think about it and you will realize.

What more do you want? It's an SRI, not a CAI. This removes the stock airbox and replaces it with an airflow-friendly filter. The piping puts the filter in the best place possible for heat and airflow.

It's not always rocket science.

Question.....

How many people put the original air dam back in place after installing the intake? You know the first piece that we take off. The one held down by the two bolts at the front of the bumper.

I dont know if I should leave it on or off.

I tried it both ways. Car felt a lot slower without it. I'm much happier with it back on. YMMV, though.

leave it on, or you will notice dirt being spread around the engine bay, as opposed to channaling it in to one spot

CAI is very hard for this car even if you are 5 speed. Don't think we did not try. A CAI at best would be Ghetto. Look for yourself at the space available and pretend you would be putting a 2.5 inch pipe in there............ See?

Must be. Lots of claims of CAIs "in production," but RRM still has the only intake on the market.

Since the eBay intake is a ripoff of the RRM intake, I didn't bother to count it.
