RRM Short Ram Intake discussion thread
IF you got a code, it will go away. IF not reset it by disconnecting battery, Then start the car, let it idle for 10-15 minutes before you drive it. It will be fine.
Side note. We have 50 more in stock now so backorders will ship Monday. We worked Saturday to box and label about 20 of them up. They are on the way.

i did all of that rock, i dissconected teh battery for a hour turned it on let it idle for like 20mins then drive below 3000rpm and the code keeps on poppin up and it only started once the intake was installed?
Ok i fully inserted the intake into the rubber houseing and tightend the clamp as hard as i could and push the filter alil bit more onto the intake. And after a 80mile ride my pending code went away so now im completly code free for 80miles which is good so i will report back tomorrow once i do 80 more
Not trying to be mean to FinestSoldier, but a lot of times it's just a bad install. For a long time, people would complain about RRM turbo kits blowing up Lancer motors. Then someone went back through and found that everyone that posted on EvoM about a blown motor screwed up the install....

Basically by design you should not get codes but remember, we are pushing the limit on purpose. That is the nature of the part. INstall is critical especiall with regards to the o ring and sensor install.
