I remember when i bought my car. It was slow. and the lower-end lag that the car had when you'd try to give it gas would **** me off.

I have the pulley, piggy, axle-back, headers and Injen CAI and this car feels MUCH better. There's actually useable power in the whole band and driving spirited on the freeways is now a reality.

Seriously, i'll never drive my car 'stock' again. Plus ask anyone who's seen and heard my car. Much more quieter without the injen exhaust.

if you guys wanna know you should call.

believe me when i say Rob doesn't exactly lurk on internet forums all day. not trying to be an *** but that's basically what i do when i have questions. I just call.

Even at times, Brian can hardly be seen on the boards. They're just a phone call away.

Email then? Rob and Brian usually get back to you pretty quick.

Or buy a prepaid phonecard. They tend to be rather cheap.

V2 makes a little more top end power. This works really well on the 2.4.

V1 is kinda rally car power
V2 is more drag car power.

Of course this is exaggerated for your comprehension!

Is there only like 1 WHP difference between the 2 intakes? And what's the reason why V1 making more lower end power? Different size filter? Does the heat shield restrict air from going into the filter?

I want to know exactly whats the difference as well, cause I am thinking bout getting the V2. If it truly is an improvement over v1 in terms of power and results I will be whipping out the CC asap

How did you arrive at one h.p.? Don't answer. More like 3 h.p. by changing chracteristics of the flow...... Velocity of air charge is the issue. That changes where you make the most power. Uses same filter even.

I'm mostly a lurker, but i bought the v1 intake from rrm. It's been about a year and the filter is looking pretty dirty. I am not to confident buying stuff online. So my question is, can any filter fit on the sri or am i better off buying rrm filter?

get the measurement of the filter. the tube end, the lenght of the filter and width of the filter. i usually do this for replacements and order online based on measurements. or you could save the trouble and buy from rrm .
