good thing i didnt buy my intake yet I'll wait around for this and see how it is

Another thing... SRI vs midram.... i've never heard of midram before. Is the piping just a little bit longer or something? if that's the case, what would you gain from that? slightly further fromt he engine, thus slightly cooler air?

Hi Rob,

Do you guys have a specific timeframe for the V2 in a 2.0 version?

Thanks

the heat shield too. I assume the v2 would have slightly better gains due to the heat shield. However the aluminum piping would conduct heat better than the plastic... so i don't know... i say we let RRM answer that for us

You mean you bought the V1 last week? lol all this hype is FOR the V2 SRI

Either way... I'm sure the V1 wouldn't be that much different from the V2. You can try calling RRM and cancelling the shipment if they havn't sent it yet. and then ordering a V2 instead... i dunno.. either way.. sooner you call, the more likely you can return the V1 and get a V2

got a few questions on this topic, mainly for the guys at rrm but everyone else feel free to make your input to

1. i have the v1 from you guys,is there a difference between the power gains from v1 to v2 cuz of the piping?
2. i took the snorkle off but i hear alot of people keep it on to keep cooler air running to the filter, will there be a little better response leaving the snorkle on?
3. this one is cuz im lazy,is the stock rubber piping on the intake ridged on the inside like the outside of the piping?

It feels great. Feels like a completely different car. Much faster, more fun to drive.
