I don't know, I still think a turbo is a better decision. This would just be extra to help everything else. After you do this, there's still a lot more parts you'd need to buy to put you where a turbo would.

this swap plus a turbo would definately give a big jump if he ran a 15 on the old gearbox and without the ecu change. id love to see that done. gonna call for better LSD

Yeah for now anyway im going to start converting the F5M42 box from the 4G93 with mivec gear sets (1st and final with LSD) got hi flow cat and cam gears today.

The only thing im doing now is i will bypass the in car immobilizer, i noticed it disables fuel or spark cant remember which. Might just hard wire everything direct to ignition. Anyone been this road before please let me know how it will save me heaps of time, dont want to install a SAFC after testing ECU from DOHC i will go to stand alone straight away.

My Mivec 4G93 should be finished anytime this week or next also so will make a comparison.

Time to start saving... Maybe I might get lucky when I get shipped overseas
I was thinking of 4g64 swap and 4g63 head, but this one seems more probable for me
