Evo X vs. Evo VIII and IX
No way the viii is tried and proven all the 9 has is mivec who cares when ur looking for real power ur gonna swap them neway try an 8 wit kelfords then come talk to me. The 8 alll the way. But def getting the X the thing eats mods . If i had to make a choice id would go wit the 8 but if i the dough i'd buy the x asap. And y does everyone hate the x body so much lol i like it if u give it a chance itll grow on u they look hot lower some nice works and a front lip

I opted for the partial aero package, back skirts and front lip, no sides. The sides stick out enough stock to get chips, why add a 'side step'?
I love the looks of mine. I get an unbelievable amount of stares and even 9yr old boys point at my car and tell their parents how cool it looks. Every freaking day I hear that. LOVE THIS CAR!
Here's a nice vid of an Evo XIII (400BHP) and Evo X (360BHP) on a fast lap in Nurburgring:

on another note, i'm waiting for the 12. there is a theme with the whole "evolution" line. seems like the last version of a chassis has all of the best refinement and enhancements that make subtle but meaningful advances. you can't seriously tell me that for the same price you would get an 8 over a 9, even if the differences between the two aren't game changing. you should read what people are achieving on OEM equipment in the 9. here's a hint - it's greater than the 8. there are ways to make up for the difference (aka spending money) but some of us don't have as expansive a budget as you do.
threads like this stop being interesting when people try so hard to justify their purchase. just be happy with your car. at least it isn't an sti.
thought i'd come and talk to you about making real power and swapping an 8 head. seems like you have done it, i'd like to hear your thoughts.

And I agree with you. The 3, 6, and 9 are the best of their chassis by far. I miss my IX, and I'd love to have a VI. Too bad we didn't get any of the older cars. Heck, who am I kidding? I'll take one of every iteration, and throw in a '92 Galant VR-4 also for good measure!
