Where am I wrong here? Someone please tell me? The 4B11 is superior stock for stock. The only thing I give to the 4G63 at this point is the ability to handle high high power. And that very well could change.

The drivetrain is bulletproof. Tranny is the strongest yet to be in an evo. And let's not forget the differentials with the AYC.

The chasis is superior as well by being stiffer.

This would make a great comparo for someone like the one guy who owns both cars. Unfortunately it's close enough that I know one very good driver who could easily make either car win if he was behind the wheel. The problem is the driver variable. People reference magazine articles because the only variable is the car, not the driver.

Dude, if you read my posts here you'll hear me giving the high power victory to the 4G63. Don't forget though that there are plenty of open deck aluminum blocks making big power. Power capacity does not make an engine better. The 4G63 has a lot of flaws still. Internals, head design, etc... I beleive that the 4B11 is the more advanced platform. It's brand new! The 4G was early 90's technology! The 4B11 makes damn good power thus far. 6 months is time enought to tell if the motor can be tuned and what we can expect. Guys running 10's and 11's on the stock block and internals (not even cams) tells me it's pretty impressive. I hear what you're saying man, I do. The 4G63 is a badass engine that's proven. The 4B11 has not been proven yet, but it's being done. It's obvious that the motor is good for 400 whp without batting an eye. How much more remains to be seen.

all evo its proved itself. and always was a big fuss about how the evolution getting worst and worst. In the reality it getting better and better. Well that is history can't deny. At least on the race track
Wich is all about this thread, right?
Since seems to me nobody deny's it the X is a better everyday car. So far .

Some guy had an accident ^. I doubt his motor is blown. It could very well have happened in a Cobalt, Neon, Evo V, Evo IX, etc all with the posibility of floating a valve or something... Over-rev any motor and it's gonna break.
