However, AYC influences the bias greatly because it is able to push the nose of the car into the corner and induce oversteer... depending on Ecu programming of course. I suspect that the special diff that the RS has does something similar.

No I am serious. In the videos they just say that it wastes fuel. They do not say "why" they added the pops and burbles. Is it just adding extra fuel into the exhaust to make it sound mean, or does it do anything else?

"Wastes" means it's not doing anything useful.

They stated why in an earlier video. It's an added visceral element much like in the Jaguars, etc.
