if i am driving hard over 3600rpm, i really don't care how much my evo consumption is. Below that when i am driving normally or cruising the pops and bangs tune is not in effect so doesn't matter. sometimes in city driving in a first and second gear shift pops a bit but i cant say that is actually measureable incrase regarding of fuel economy, in my case anyway.
although i am guessing it should raise the fuel consumption, but indont really care its 18 or 17 mpg. its not a prius which has only one bragging rights, and even that is not that great lol

I saw an old ast 5300 review for your race Evo. Did you put digressive valves in there? You gave pretty good review on them. Theres a set of those on sale in the classifieds. Do you have more detail to add after having used them for a while- or, how did you change your setup on them over time?

but this thread repeatedly states that the RS is/will be no Evo

 

No mention of the "fake" noises, just the exhaust notes (on all the cars). Again, the brits just don't care.
