Cellphones don't always have signal. And the integrated nav is typically easier to use than a garmin unit.

true. i guess if you're out somewhere with no cell signal, you would definitely need GPS LOL.

even some parts in nyc can be tricky for cell nav. interference is crazy. then you go in tunnels under bridges etc.
At the weekends you go let say in the mountains, cell phone nav is great but not reliable.

That is why i use both. I use Waze for faster traffic report and warnings, but i am driving after the oem nav.
If the waze tells me turn this way or that way, i do it, and the factory nav reroute itself according to the waze. if waze dont have reception etc. i dont even notice it lol

also the factory nav has pretty good traffic info anyway. but the waze reacts faster for changes. also tells me if something on the road or where are the cops.
that is what oem navs needs to improve.

All cells have built-in gps so use/download a offline program for when cell service is spotty. Problem solved.

I have RT66 which I think one of the best if not, and of course you can download any country map all around the world, (since I travel a lot, I purchased the premium version and I have about 4 years now) But still can have issues vs the factory one. Example factory never lost signal under bridges tunnels mountains etc. Cellphones does.

its actually has a follow me option which is cool in full screen

So what evidence do you have that a sub-$2000 winter wheel and tire package directly from the factory is expensive? I'm guessing you got none.

Sounds like you're just another person who wants to ***** and moan about this car for no other reason than to ***** and moan about this car.
