Focus RS
So i am just using one test car.
Like the car, i think it's a great car, but not my cup of tea.
Nope i wouldnt buy one now. Maybe if they will come out with a wide body, and after I see how the AWD system will respond for mods etc.
Fun car fun drive, this gen. didnt connect with me yet. Needs more time to see how the car holds as a tuner or race car.
same as i felt with the STI. i drove them around a lot, but never had the feel i would buy one. Even though i think they are great cars.
I "settled" with the Evo, and worked out great.
cars are more then just numbers for me really, specially when they are 10ths of seconds from each other.
I buy cars where i feel comfortable driving fast and has room for improvement.
if i feel uncertainty about one of those, i pick another car. We are blessed with the fact we have choices today on the USA market.
buy what you like, not what others like. Simple is that.

I like that ford and Subaru is still making improvements and producing cars that keep the game alive. unlike mitsu which has just officially announced that they are done with the lancer completely after 2017

And the STi is still not comparable to a Evo.

The latest version (the one that does 2.7% overspeed) of Honda/Acura SH-AWD is functionally identical to the Ford Focus RS/Twinster system. For some of the Focus RS situations where it feels like FWD momentarily perhaps this section in an article I posted earlier in this thread might cover it. Do a couple of calculations and see it this might be a partial explanation
