You should become a Ford Racing & Mountune authorized installer.

Using the Mustang as an example, you can buy Ford Performance stuff all over the place, including their reflash, but warranty only stays intact if all installs are performed by a Ford dealer. even the reflash which consists of plugging a dongle into the obdII port and pressing a button.

if it actually holds up, that'd be awesome. but we all know when it comes to warranty work its a crap shoot. I guess if they try to deny warranty you can get a lawyer, but they count on the fact taht 99.99% of people out there won't

Yeah I mean common ford doesn't have to install everything to keep the warranty that would make no sense
I would trust CBRD. If they told me they were a Ford Racing & mountune authorized installer, and installed a Ford power pack and assured me that my warranty was intact, I would be confident in just that. Such things would be easy enough to verify through Ford corporate as well.
I just think a lot of initial RS owners are not going to want to void their warranty right away. Assuming Ford Racing & mountune offer upgrades like they do with the ST, then a lot of people are going to want to go that route. Might as well have a shop you can trust cashing in on that.

There is a Focus RS thread on NASIOC where a person who allegedly is from the company doing the RS's AWD system is posting. Basically, he said its a great car, BUT any power increases over stock will go to the front wheels to save the rear section of the drivetrain. If this is the case, this car would be a huge disappointment to me.
Makes Subaru's driver controlled center diff (DCCD) sound a lot better than a drift button. http://www.torquenews.com/1084/why-2...l-awd-hardware
