Focus RS
Razorlab, post a link please. All the thread for defeats I found are the old one, and they all link to the APR page...lol. Knowing this new info makes me interested in this car again...
You change a couple of digits in a line of code in the ABS module. Probably wouldn't effect warranty.

Again, as an FYI, This is for the MK6 Golf R. The current MK7 Golf R USDM version already has the ability to fully turn off ESC.
Also, here is my old build thread for my MK6 Golf R: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/lo...13-golf-r.html
where'd you see that? this is the most info I can find on the Ford site and it says nothing about the RS release date... it has stuff about other ford models in that last paragraph, but just "Availability for the Focus RS will be announced later this year" about the RS. makes me think its even further out then everything else they listed...

Dealers get to place orders (based on their initial allocation) on October 12th. Those people who really want to be among the first to take delivery have already been putting down deposits. If anyone in the PNW is looking to get one try Price Ford http://www.priceford.com/ Its a good size Ford dealer on the Olympic Peninsula, its kind of out in BFE so it may not have been cherry picked yet.
Eight weekly episodes start on 30 September:
Episode 1: Project kick-off – Ken Block and Raj Nair debate what the car should deliver, from behind the wheel of an early prototype
Episode 2: Design and development – Crunching crashes put the new design to the toughest of tests
Episode 3: Hitting the road – A 1,600-kilometre (1,000-mile) drive through epic terrain takes prototypes from high in the Rocky Mountains to the Arizona desert
Episode 4: Test-track trials – Block heads for Ford's top-secret test facility, and indulges in some "hooning"
Episode 5: Arctic extremes – Winter testing in Sweden, and the team is under pressure to improve performance
Episode 6: Power struggle – It's all about performance, as the Ford manufacturing plant in Saarlouis, Germany, gears up for production
Episode 7: Close scrutiny – The day of the critical sign-off drive follows Block's headline appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
Episode 8: Final chapter – It's time for the nail-biting management review
