Focus RS
Is it still the case that stability control is ALWAYS on for the Golf R? I knew the older 11's and 12s you couldn't which is absolutely horse ****.
On the MK6 Golf R it was an easy fix, it was the first mod I did. Took like 2 minutes to do then it was good to go.
how is the power add with the AWD system it has? You think it will be a similar case with the RS, what ever the result is?
In the 11-12 R and GTIs of that era, VW set the bit in the US cars to not be able to be defeated. It was quickly discovered that switching the bit to rest-of-world spec allowed US owners to push and hold the traction control button to full-off mode. Takes about 15 seconds with the cable to permanently write it and make the car a lot more fun.
Hey. Sorry I missed this. There's an OBD2 port cable that VW and Audi guys can purchase that allows customization of things by changing bits in the code. Lots of them center around convenience, lighting, door locks, etc.
