My car does not push when i lift a rear tire. The car sticks, rotates, turns, goes, etc. The rear lifting has to happen to get my car around, it's an unfortunate (if you really care) result. The car drives great, so i really don't mind.

When one of your corners gets more than total diagonal weight, you will end up lifting the other end. But, by getting more than a diagonal weight on one corner, does't mean car will loose grip on that end. If your suspension is still operating properly and there is no bottoming out or creating so much sway in the body that you end up running +2 degrees of camber on that end for example, I don't see how you would loose grip on that side!
On street tires, yes, it's possible to ovarload the grip in that scenario, rolling the tire over and what not. On slicks not so much.

That sounds more like problem of running without enough wheel and/or tire pressure being low. Not that much as street vs. race tire...

No, race tires are significantly stiffer than any street tire. And much more resistant to tread rollover.

Each tire will roll over when pushed enough...

Also, new crop of tires that are out right now are much closer to the Rs then ever before...my race rear tire pressure is 27-28 on RE71s - my normal street tires can't do that!

With MAP's sale, PSI helped me out a little bit more on the original estimate they sent, which was $2420. Super excited right now.

10k/12k. I may change that before they do the final invoice. the 700lb eibach they have is really a 12.5k. May drop it down to a 650lb, which is about 11.6k.

Anyone have any input on this? The stock front ohlins spring is 10k, 560lbs. I am currently getting a 12.5k rear spring, making the rear 25% stiffer than the front. Should I just try this, or should I drop the rear to 650lbs (11.6k), or should I up the front to 600lbs(10.7k)?

FWIW, I think its fine Sean. Its only .5K diff. I would just set your RSB to med or the soft setting to test

I'm spending over $2k here, and then another $300 for alignment/corner balance once they I get them installed. I would prefer to have to change springs rates after everything is all said and done. My car currently has stock sways. I don't plan to buy sway bar stuff until I get these on and do some testing.

Whoa, stock bars? That's crazy talk. Would at least upgrade rear bar and install FSB adjustable bracket. But can understand doing one thing at a time. Just crazy you haven't already done it.

great to hear ab the order - I couldn't read it though, did you get ohlins? 10/12.5 sounds fine - MAP has some good deals on swifts too. The ohlins rears are 8k though, so it's a pretty big jump if we're thinking of the same coilovers.

I'd also really consider an ACD tune - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...cu-review.html

Kaj's experience mirror my own with ER's ACD tune - tons of off throttle turn-in/rotation, without the car getting too wild (though it can and does depending on how ham fisted I am)
