Basically 93 +/- the octane tolerance. I think it would be nice if it said something like nominally 93 octane not to exceed 93.x (what ever that tolerance max is).

I think the max was set at 93.9, looks like I'll have to mix

That is what I thought! That means you could get even better numbers had you been using 100 octane fuel in there as most of the 8 and 9 that we have their numbers from! This is getting better and better for X guys!

Right! But, I was taking into account +/- part that was there...should have said up to 94 but not including!

is it for straight 93? we get up to 10% ethanol in my location. I also use fuel cleaner pretty frequently, technically not an octane booster but some say they are, i.e., redline's fuel cleaner

sorry if this has already been covered - do you guys run a different pad for local events vs nats? I imagine with the 3 runs for nats you would typically want something with more cold bite than say a local event with 6+ runs. what's everyone running now?

Another great NNJR event over a week ago. I put 1.7 on the rest of STU and paxed 8th again out of 130ish people. We had Yom and GJ Dixon battle it out for top pax and the competition was stiff. NNJR really gets competative the closer it comes to nationals time. The course was very sweepy and rewarded power. The way my car is set up right now, it sweeps great, but it does not slalom too well as it gets twitchy and hard to driving during back to back transitions. I'm ok with that and actually prefer sweeping course .

However, I did some work on this this past Saturday and wanted to drop down the rear bar from stiff to the middle setting and figured out why it might be extra twitchy lately. My home made endlinks are bent. The whiteline are **** and clunk, these I somehow bent. The bar does not have any bind in it but I guess with the 900lb rates and a full stiff bar, something has to let go. Essentially I have the Hotchkis endlinks coming this week. If these don't work, I simply give up lol.

The car is coming along great, and I wish I could attend Lincoln this year, but it's just not in the cards.

Looks like we had a few more people drop out of STU for Nats, down to 28 now (assuming it doesn't change by next Thurs/Fri).
