Just picked up my head. I'm excited but a little confused at the same time.
Last week I dropped off the head, new guides, new seals, stock springs, retainers and keepers, and what were supposed to be stock sized valves (inconel exhaust, black nitrited intake, slightly used, bought off the forum).
When I picked it up today, I asked him if it was a lot of work. He said yeah, getting those larger valves in the seats was more work than he had anticipated... I was a bit shocked, to say the least. He did a little drawing and tried to explain to me what was done, but it was over my head. I asked if they were +1mm. He said no, not that much larger.
I'm going to measure them against the stockers I have at home to see what's going on. I called Supertech to see what they had to say. They said that for a stock sized valve, no work should need to be done. I'll remove a valve when I get home to see what's up.
How concerned should I be with the situation? The tech at Supertech said I probably wouldn't notice anything, but might have a bit more power. I'm worried about interference with the stock piston? Should I be able to clear? What about tuning?
Pics for now:

If they're oversized, they must only be .5mm over:

There's no way that's enough to hit a valve with stock cams. I'm just stressed. It was a long day and this was unexpected.
Head on block:

ARP washers and nuts are lubed up and in hand tight. I'll torque this evening after dinner.
That leads to my next question. There are mixed numbers posted all over EvoM for ARP torque specs. APR says 60. I called and confirmed 60. I even ran by some of the numbers on the forum. He said no, use 60 and use their lube...
Any helpul info here? I'm leaning towards 60...

Okay, I must have screwed up something when I was looking at the part number earlier. It's 80... Glad I triple checked. What a day....
Edit: I think my computer at the office must have had the pdf for the main studs stuck in cache or something. Disregard.

Cleaned up my lifters according to Jaffromobile on Youtube.
Laid out:

Filled and soaked in diesel all night:

Bled them out. Came out perfectly clean. Cleaned them out with brake parts cleaner:

Filled back with oil, bled, slathered in assembly lube, carefully placed in the head. Rockers and cams going in tonight:
