Well, my assumption was correct. The ring came out of the wave spring at some point and was hanging out in the bottom of the pressure plate. It's out and I'm waiting on a new one. It's fine, but I might as well use the one I ordered. Both tabs were broken off the TOB. Fun times.
Parts will be here Tuesday, but it's my 8 year anniversary. I doubt I'll be installing them

New TOB installed... again:

And she's in:
Not as bad as I thought it'd be. I had to wrestle with the xfer case a bit. It's still not stabbed, unfortunately. I need to get the car a bit higher so I can have room to maneuver. TOB popped right in, like it was supposed to. Slave cylinder is on. Clutch feels great! That's probably all I'll get to do until this weekend. Good update, though.

Man, you're almost there! I take it there was no play in the input shaft that the TOB went on? I'd imagine that there wouldn't be, still wondering how that may cause the P0300 CEL code to throw?
*** I thought my world was over when my wave spring/wedge collar fell out during my install... fortunately, it just needed to be put back together. Funny how such a small ring can leave a clutch useless...

Well, that's a bummer. Spent 3 days in San Antonio and couldn't get ahold of the guy that told me he'd sell me the spoiler. PMd him numerous times with my number. Sucks.

Well, it was a very productive day. I didn't expect to get as much done as I did.
Transfer case in and torqued. Axles in and wheels back on the car. Oil cooler line temporarily looped to delete the cooler. Oil filter on. Shifter linkage installed (my favorite part of the day). Exhaust fully bolted up from turbo back. Fuel lines bolted up. Battery and tray installed. LICP installed. Radiator installed. Thermostat housing installed. All coolant lines are hooked up.
Things I've found that I need.
1. Still need a stock ROM flashed
2. Diaqueen for transfer case
3. Coupler from UICP to intercooler
4. Hose from BOV to UICP.
5. Stock boost hoses with restrictor pills
There will still be a few things I'll need after that, but those are the major things. I found that my front outer ball joints are torn. I'll need to replace those before I get an alignment.
Also, I hooked up the battery for kicks. I realized I wired the amp back up incorrectly.
And, now that the engine is installed, when I turn on the headlights, I get a lot of noise in the cabin. Not sure if it's because I have the fuel pump hooked up, now.
So, hopefully I'll get an order in tomorrow and get this show on the road!
