Haven't yet. Mechanic was waiting to bring everything over. I'll know soon.

Either way I will be doing OEM crank.

So, another great experience. I sent out my turbo, manifold and downpipe to Advanced Thermal Dynamics to have them custom make inconel heat shielding for it all.

They turned it around in two days. Received my packages Monday, did the work and sent it back out on Wednesday.

I had them do a little more work then I previously stated in this thread. Here is the list:

INCONEL MANIFOLD SHIELD - $405
INCONEL TURBO SHIELD - $305
INCONEL DOWN PIPE SHIELD - $465
INCONEL V-BAND CLAMP COVER SHIELD (x2) - $50
INCONEL BACK PLATE SHIELD (Compressor) - $95

With shipping there and back all this work has cost me $1500.

Indeed. Will probably look like the space shuttle cargo bay.

Are you going to get an aluminum valve cover, or do you think plastic will be fine with all the heat shielding?

I don't know anything about heat shields, but that work looks impressive, indeed. They even go the extra mile and affix custom nameplates! Can't wait to see what's next.

Holly cow that looks great. Is it an expensive solution? Wonder if this vs turbo blanket and wrapping the downpipe and header makes sense.

Per his post, $1500 with shipping. Not cheap, but I imagine it's a necessity if you're going to be hot lapping a high HP Evo X.

It's actually quite the deal if you factor in the cost of Inconel shielding and the labor involved.

Other places charge MUCH more.

Not saying it's not worth what you spent. It just is a lot of money.
