If I had double fuel pumps, or a brushless unit, and an electric water pump, 14 speaker sound system, 2 radiator fans etc. I'd for sure be looking for a higher output alternator.
I have 2 fans and sometimes the AC is on before my autox run and I do see my voltage go down to 12.5v. i'm just thinking the spark intensity would be better at higher voltage

Have you logged voltage during a run? Voltage at idle can be low because the alternator isn't spinning very fast.

IIRC there's also some signaling between the ECU and the regulator on the alternator to adjust the voltage between two limits according to some table in the ECU. If your voltage is always low, I'd check that wiring and/or the regulator.

I'm aware of that. just saying it would be great if it stays at the peak level. that would be around 13.8v for me(seen it 14.1v before)

Unplug it, it'll run at max output (and blow up your battery)

Another step closer to doing a thing today. I've noticed the stock power steering pump isn't fond of large sticky tires and now that new OE pumps are too expensive and reman pumps just downright suck I decided to move to a racing grade PS pump. Chose to use one from KRC since they're well proven out in professional racing and they have a pump that gets things pretty well in the ballpark off the bat. The pump I'm using is their elite series pump, it comes with a pulley that's about .25" larger than the stock pulley which is nice for helpings slow down pump speed just a hair. The internal chamber volume is the same as the stock pump too. The really cool thing with their pumps is the ability to swap outlet orifices to alter the flow rate of the pump which means you can increase or decrease steering assist just by swapping out a fitting.

To use this pump I had to design a mounting bracket for it. I wanted to keep it in the stock location so I scanned a stock bracket to get the factory mounting points, then measured out the pump and all the necessary offsets I needed to locate the pulley axis in the same spot as the OEM pump. I decided to keep mounting points for a heatshield since the exhaust sits right next to it. This is the finished product as far as the bracket goes, I still need to make a custom high pressure line going from the pump to the rack as well as a new suction line and I'll likely make a new reservoir too. To start I'm going to run it without a cooler and use a high temp fluid, fingers crossed I don't need to put a PS cooler back on the car...

Wow that is neat!

How much was the pump?

how much will you sell the bracket for? Or are you planning on a complete kit with pump, bracket, lines?

The pump is ~$450 from KRC.

I wasn't planning on selling the bracket but a few people have reached out asking for one so I might do a run of 5 or so. I'd love to make a whole kit something we offer but I've guessed wrong on Evo parts so many times now (and every time it ties up a bunch of money on the shelf) that my interest for offering new Evo parts is pretty low. The Civic market has been much more consistent and reliable for us. I'll always love Evos but I can't float my business on people saying they want XYZ thing and then not buy it when we make it.

I did get a batch of brackets made, if you're interested the bracket is $200 shipped and I can offer a titanium heat shield with it as well for another $75. Can add a KRC with a billet pulley for $430.
