So I got a bunch of stuff done but it's not good pics. New sensor I wrecked is now successfully swapped with another new sensor, hooray! Back end is off ground, wheels off, brake lines loose for swap, hadda cut endlink on sway bar to remove was hacksaw hell, rear diff sitting to lift into place(tomorrow), spent 1.5hrs pressure washing the hell outta the car, put oil in engine, coolant is filled, ACD reservoir topped off(solenoid lookin thing is leaky FFS, it's the hydraulic valve), prepped trunk for swap...uh, some other crap too.

All the other pics from today are very meh, this is bird poo free so HUZZAH BLINTZES!

Got a bunch more done today, pics are dicey again. All brakes n lines are swapped, all axles in, half of driveshaft is on, rear sway bar is swapped, rear diff is home.

Bar came with adjustable links...that were missing a nut right outta the bag. QC of the future chews dix.

All ball joints were being screwy so I installed axles on the ground then lifted diff and get this, MY DODGY SCHEME WENT OFF LIKE HOT DAMN!!!

Mmmmmmm, so close to an entire Evo...

So been busy AF and/or raining like a **** here but snuck out today and got some stuff done. Hauled a pal along to pump pedals and so brakes/clutch are bled and rear end is pretty much back together...except for one issue, springs. I got pics, who can tell me what brand they are, ordered used rear bilsteins and they were supposed to be stock, never opened em up(injury) until now and they are not stock springs. Gonna put em on and see how car looks back on the ground, if too screwy I'll learn how to swap springs from crashed shocks, unless you all thing if they don't look bent why not run em. Anyway enough blah blah here'

Anyone know who's springs are this colour? I don't...yet.

Of course the tags are exactly worn off...is that an S? Anyone recognize the font that IS there?

Whatever! I want a frickin Evo again so let's see how they look on the ground. But seriously folks, anyone got a solid idea what kinda springs these are? Also, got the front set you wanna sell?
s a couple pics to sleuth over.

I used to have some of these lowering springs on my Honda Civic back in the day so the pic you posted of the text on the springs reminded me of "Sprint" suspension. That's my best assumption on what kinda springs you got there. .

So I hit up Princess Auto and got a set of spring clamps for cheap and plan on swapping for the stock springs on crashed car.
Wait a second, you guys all saw the death blow pic, would you run the spring that went through that?

Why not run the swift springs. I’m pretty sure that they are one of the best aftermarket springs

Oh yeah they're totally in, just might look stupid due to stock height up front and dropped a$$ end. Then...I buy a set of springs? I dunno yet.

Got out to car today and almost got it put together for real. Went over all the bolts in rear end, done. Driveline is done. Through all the mayhem I managed to...let's call it misplace the 2 bolts n gasket for exhaust so that and the front cross support bars the car is a car again. I think I messed up and bought the wrong battery as this one has only 400cca, does it gotta go back? Already decided to say screw it and just get another one. So tomorrow I pick up new plugs, gasket n bolts for exhaust and a battery. Today I drained the tank and put in 20l of fresh fuel. Close...

Yessss it's a crap photo but it's a friggin awqesome photo cause driveshaft is where it's supposed to go!

Yes I turned on the lights...and ran the fuel pump to bleed it or whatever with the return off and to see if it would work...HELLS YEAH IT DID!!!
Pretty pleased with stuff right now.

Am I on glue? Where the hell do you suppose a retailer in friggin' Canada sells simple bloody exhaust gaskets...yeah, so far they don't, all special order. Losing it here! Like a petty spoiled losing it, BUT STILL.

So then I found the gaskets and bolts for the exhaust in the bag I expected just not where. The car is mechanically all back together I even turned the engine shaft thing and saw the wheels spin with it in gear, SUPER HOORAY! Oh yeah, lining up a stock exhaust for those bolts chews dix hard.
But this is where I plunge way outta my element.
The car is back together apart from fender/liners and hood n headlights. Fluids are all topped, new battery, fuel pump pumps fresh fuel. Plugs are plugged and bolts are snug.
But won't turn over. Nothing.
I suspect the immobilizer is giving me grief because when I turn the key that little green flashy key symbol goes off on the dash and if I'm not mistaken that's what it's referring to.
Seriously this is where I really do need help from the crowd. My inclination is to just disable immobilizer but that's also just a band aid solution and doesn't tell me what's wrong.
More that makes me think immob. is culprit is the power locks do not work nor does the driver window panel control anything but the driver window. Passenger window worked with it's own switch, no lock control.
In response and to eliminate a possible conflict I swapped ETACS ecu to the one from crash that came with engine ecu they all from same car now.
Is the door switch possibly tied into stock security system? I will be swapping from wreck just in case, likely do same for passenger.
Anyway, I could use some help figuring why dafuq te car not start.
Enough blah blah(no seriosuly, any ideas? I'm hoping to not need to flash away immob.) here's some pics that are kind of a flipping huge-ishly crazy deal.

You say "oooo boring, a stock evo" I say GREAT GALLOPING GREMLINS GANG, that's a friggin stock Evo! Under the hood anyway.

I caught it! the little green car with a key in it symbol, what does it mean exactly? Is it related to immobilizer? Under the Lancer tag, see it there? Yeah you do, WHATSIT FOAR!!! Power did most of what I thought it would. oh right, the new stereo did it's thing properly...ish.

So. There it is. Back on it's own wheels. The drop from those springs in the back look TEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIBLE.

Now it just needs to run!!!! And get the footing figured out, this looks silly. Also gonna go back to white hood after looking at this pic...

You are correct, that green key light is the immobilizer. If you want to keep it, you will need to either have it reprogrammed by a dealer or get your hands on a MUT III. If I was you I would just disable it for now and cross that bridge later when you have everything else ironed out.

If you have the original keys/immobilizer/ecu for the chassis then you can try and check over the wiring to make sure all the components are hooked up properly.
