Utah Evos
I have never gotten a no-front-plate ticket on any of the cars I've driven that have all been without front plates. I'd like to think it's because the cops are nice enough to understand, it's not like it's a HUGE payment for the state
And yeah, it's the spoiler for sure. At least it isn't as huge as the older Evo spoilers.

Since moving here in 2002, I haven't had a front plate on any vehicle I've driven. I even took them off my accord and now my Legend. They are just dumb and get in the way. I unfortunately have been pulled over a few time by Provo's finest and not one of them even mentioned the front plate. It's not a big deal and cops aren't really paying attention to it either.
Definately interested. I need to re-tune with my cams soon, and re-tune boost (I do have the JDM boost sensor). I've been thinking of adding no-lift shift too, but don't know if I want to put that much strain on my tranny/diffs
Just a note on the confusion. It is still required by law to run a front plate, however, it is not something that you can be pulled over for. If a citation is given ($45), you must have been pulled over for something else (ie Speeding).
^ okay good thing tho know thanks man... I am going to talk to that sheriff again and find out the Details... Its actually a friends Dad who has a Evo also and hes on the Forum well once in a great while he is...
Hey guys I'm still wondering where I should go to get tuned. I'll be getting some more go fast bits in the coming month and I'm not sure who I should have do the tuning. Turbo labs or someone said Adam Munoa was still able to tune???
Can't get a tactrix cable with my mac. Anyone have any suggestions?

The nlts works pretty good once you get it setup where you need it. If you shift it right I would think that it puts less stress on the tranny. I haven't used the valet option yet, but will by the end of the year....oldest daughter is turning 16
& don't need her taking the evo for a joyride.

I have been doing quite a bit of logging with Evoscan recently and I keep getting gaps in my full throttle logs, it will log great from 2500-4000 then jump to 7000 on one log and then the log from 4-8k on one log, I can't seem to figure out why it keeps disconnecting. Any one have any ideas? It seems to happen mainly on FT logs as I can log a 30mi trip home without any disconnects
anyone willing to share for a small fee?
I would buy the evoscan cable if I hadn't read all the problems people have been having with them.

If it's disconnecting, maybe the drivers/software got corrupted up somehow...try uninstalling & reinstalling the software.
If it is logging slow, try increasing the Baudrate in MUT2 to 62,500. then only the bare essentials(not everything)
EDIT: the usb port could have a bad connection....try a different port?
