updated wrx... what does this mean for the ralliart
If the 08 WRX which will become the 09 Imprezza GT ranges from $24,350 - $28,450 then I'm pretty sure the base 09 WRX will start in the high $26 - low $27 range which will put it in the same price point as the RA.
I'm wondering if people who are considering the RA now but really want a manual would rather just jump to the 09 WRX instead of waiting for Mitsu to put out a manual option. I can also see Mitsu repsonding to Subaru for the 2010 RA model by bumping up HP into the 250ish range while keeping the TQ about the same.

Yeah, weird. Is that such a difficult choice, one stock seats vrs RECARO seats that are far superior? I dont know how people are gonna chose the inferior seats. (besides costs) Seems such an easy easy choice.
And if people can buy the recaro sport package we´ll see the stats but I´ll say that the majority of them will buy the recaro seats.
And no talking needed about getting HIDs....
suby rex will not get them.

Ive owned 2 WRX, 1 STI and have redone the HID system on all of them. Factory HID is normally 4300K. I prefer 6000K.
While the power upgrades and suspension tweaks sound good, the new WRX still looks very wimpy and odd. The Lancer styling is still drawing me in. Even though it will be a few ponies down. The SST is still the feature that is #1 deal maker. I am concerned that the next Ralliart will get some big upgrades now as well. Problem is, I will need a car by the end of April. I doubt any big news will be out about 2010 by then.

wow, so MUCH PATIENCE!! I dont know what to say, sorry or congrats.
They're just bulbs guys. The actual ballasts for the HID's stay in the car, but you swap out the bulbs to the color you like so as long as it's the same type (typically H2S for OEM). As easy as changing clothes
The majority of people I know don't like the seats. A lot don't fit properly and the rest just don't like them. My friends aren't fat even, the seats are just stupidly tight. I wonder if the seats in canadian evos are different than those in american evos.
Base RA for me! It will be my platform to jump into a car with the TC-SST tranny. I find it kind of ironic that I can trade in a stock Evo IX MR for the RA and basically break even. Some friends have told me it's a downgrade, but I disagree! The tranny is what I want and the X MR would be great, but it costs boat-loads more.
