Yeah I'm crazy... I think? I'm just over a traditional manual for a DD.

Oh, btw...
"Lancer Ralliart is also equipped with FAST-Key, hands free telephone interface and easily accessible steering column mounted paddle shifters."

I always wanted some of that newer technology in the car. Integrated Bluetooth is a must these days.

Your seats are probably narrower than ours since we are fatter here.

I def 2nd this.
Recaros are great but not for everyone. I am not that interested in the seats. I can always get another set. The ones in the Caliber SRT4, IMO are far more comfortable then the Evos. It's just that they are wider and don't have a death grip on your ***.
If I get an R/A , i would really look hard into some seats like CSRT4. The rest of CSRT4 can't hold nothing to the Evo but the seats are helluva alot better IMO.

My hips are also too wide for the Recaros. Every time I took the Evo Xout for a test drive, I was sore. Don't think I could live with them everyday...but they is so darn sexy!

Hmm... You better test drive the new ralliart first. Make sure you test drive it alot and compare it with your Evo in every single driving method as you can before considering. For me I wont be trading in my Evo IX for it, remember your Evo is now part of the limited collections. And I dont know how could a Stick beat the fun over AT, no matter how good the new technology of the AT Ralliart had released.

Dont get me wrong I do like the ralliart alot since I dont have enough money to buy the Evos, I would consider Ralliart over Evo due to financial situation. But if I got enough juice it would be Evo for me over Ralliart.

The R/A is 253lb trq, isn't it?
and they are estimating at 27.5k???

dont forget that they're also bringing in the new model 2.5gt

edii: when i say new i mean they're keeping the old wrx and remaining it as the 2.5gt, leaving another hole in competition with mitsu while upping the game with the wrx. interesting

Yeah it's a tough choice. I'm in the process of selling/trading the IX right now. I know I want the X MR or RA Sportback. But the X MR is $10k over the RA's price. Plus I always wanted the functionality of a Sportback and folding seats are a must these days! Rally Red for me please! Should hide those ugly tail lights just fine

I'm curious now. If you guys had to choose between a Evo X MR or RA, which would you choose? Would you strictly choose the RA just because you didn't want to sped the extra $10k? What if the tuner market later finds out that most, if not all, of the Evo X parts are swappable into the RA? And the icing on the cake... the TC-SST transmission ends up getting an upgradeable wet dual-clutch kit and/or the TCU ends up fully integrated into ECUFlash and is fully programmable. Or how about we skip all that and the RA can have the Evo X Mr's ECU/TCU directly swappable?

My mind is obviously racing with many ideas all of which hopes the RA is as upgradeable as I'm hoping it will be.

Hehe. I would chose Evo X over RA. As my mind always said, why would I make a slow car faster. I would rather make a faster car runs faster! And for all the hassle of mods to make the RA faster and match the evo is a waste of time for me and money. And plus the evo has the HP you wanted initially, why would you sacrifice the RAs warranty to do all those things just to run as fast as Evo X. Timings and adjustment on mods are not damn easy. .

You have a good Evo IX, I rather make that car faster and make it look better. Or trade it in to Evo X if you want to try the new 4B11 engine. You already got a good start on your car to either trade in to Evo X or just use your old Evo to mod it better. Going a step back is always something i find it wrong. And I choose Manual trans for me over any what so ever ATs! hands down!

Wow the New Subaru WRX has some good ****s and upgrades! This would be some trouble for the RA! Mitsu should had not delayed the released of RA!

Again, as I said, (all the times I explain myself so clearly, but heck, gotta repeat and repeat) wait for data , and then my position is that the majority of people will chose the recaro sport package if they can afford it.
Now there is nothing else to say, except repeating and repeating, so.... lets move on.

Strange move from an EVO owner.
Welcome to the club.

Easy question for me.
I choose the ralliart considering its price.
Considering the EVO X MR`s price, I´ll choose a BMW 335i.
