As I said before, complexity does not equate to superiority. The Ralliart drivetrain is not that complicated anyways, it still uses mechanical diffs and the only thing "special" about it is the center differential.

I think the sportback is UGLY. Besides, what do you really gain is versatility. Maybe a couple cubic feet with stuff smashed up on the back glass?

Re read my post, never said anything about complexity equals superiority.
Said there are differences between the two systems, so no matter if people notices or not, there will be there.
Differences, as in complexity , superiority, for example. Not that complexity equals more superior, in fact, I never said that neither of the two was the more complex nor the most superior.
There are differences, they are NOT THE SAME AWD system, am I correct?

Just like 10 hours before they announce how is the 09 wrx gonna be, (seems its gonna be on thursday after all haha, ooops) I´ll say that no matter the changes, people that are settled on the ralliart and like it the most (from the outside to the inside) will not care about this wrx.
I for one wont care if this wrx gets 290 hp or gets a tweaked suspension or finally gets a sunroof (dumb for not having one already) or gets some styling tweaks ( the car remains ugly and boring , they will have to redesigned for me to like it) .
People that are subaru fan boys are the most pleased if this goes true.
They needed it, and badly. The 08 wrx sucks against its competition right now.
Finally SOA listened to them, and congrats for that.
I dont think that u can have the taste to actually like both cars, is either the subaru or the mitsubishi.
Mazdaspeed 3 lies in the middle. And unfortunately (or lucky for some people) looks so tamed and not exciting at all and for the suby fanboys still is FWD.
The ralliart has things the rex will not have, and if u are clever u will know what Im talking about.
Octane blue or wicked white, help me decide, ??

I did reread it and it certainly seems like you are trying to equate complexity with superiority. Both systems have their advantages and their disadvantages. The Mitsubishi AWD is obviously very technical, it has multiple programs to enhance the mechanical aspects. The Subaru system is the only truly symmetrical AWD system.

If the only people who are interested in the Ralliart are diehard fanboys, Mitsubishi will be ****ting a brick. Despite what people think, manufacturers do not like fanboys. They're annoying from a servicing standpoint since they bag on their cars and they don't exactly spend a lot of money frequently on cars. Mitsubishi wants buyers who are interested in both and for those people, the Subaru is definitely something to consider now.
The Subaru has things that the Ralliart will never have so I don't see your point in regards to your final comment (not the color question).

Amby hahaha, I dont know why I entered the talking about the AWD.
What matters above all, and that is what I´m saying, and I repeat it again, they are different. Which one is superior? naah, lets have a instead. Which one is more complex? Or should I say especial like u said? Ralliart anyone? haha

About the other post, it all comes down to this, its not about hardcore fans of the manufacturers, because that is a completely apart theme. Too boring and we all know the implications about that.
First and foremost, its my opinion. Remember that. My opinion is that I like very much the ralliart, so despite all the huge tweaks the suby gets, it still be ugly thru my eyes, still will be undesireable for me. Just as the MS3 is . Its not remotely about subaru vrs mitsu or something crazy like that hahaha. In fact I own other brands besides mitsu, for me its the car that gives me what I want, no matter the brand (well kinda, not into kia or hyundai yet haha).
I find it hard that people who already likes the ralliart would like the wrx as well, but if that happens, one thing is hard, another is impossible, so....
The wrx needed all those changes is gonna get tomorrow, who can doubt that??
I didnt know the rex didnt offer sunroof, man oh man, that was hilarious.
Feature by feature, like knee airbag, like fast key entry, recaro seats, HIDs, are not offered in the rex, and well, if u like good fancy stuff like that, u gotta get the ralliart. (correct me if recaro or HIDs are on the wrx, not sure).
SO, now u get it?

I'll agree with the first part, or at least just drop it since it's not going anywhere.
I still think that for the average buyer (ie. not the people you find on specific websites), both cars will be considered equally. A lot of people seem to like the new look of the Impreza since it's selling quite well. I agree that the WRX needed those changes but the Ralliart needs some changes as well.
If you actually care about hardcore performance, you don't want a sunroof. I hate my sunroof. It makes wearing a helmet in the car difficult which affects on-track usability. A lot of those other things you listed aren't important for performance. I would like HIDs but they're not a vital option for me. I wouldn't be surprised if HIDs were offered on the WRX eventually. Seats would be nice but I'm also happy having side airbags. A lot of people in the local car club don`t like the evo Recarods anyways, they find them to be too tight for a daily driver.
