Mitsubishi doesn't have the Ralliart on their website yet, sorry.

The Ralliart is hardly slow. You can get fast and ugly for cheaper than a Subaru at a Chevy dealership. Also as you have said before people on this site will mod their cars. You can mod the Ralliart to be faster and handle better but you will never be able to make a WRX look good. Sure they added the STI grille and rear spoiler for 09 but it's the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig.

The WRX sedan looks like a Corolla S, and the taillights on the hatchback are an abomination...honestly don't know who at Subaru thought clear with LEDs was remotely stylish. I saw a blue 09 WRX on the road a few days ago and the combination of blue + chrome + clear taillights looked like some horrible ricer creation from the late 90s.

Also not worried about the 3/10s the WRX picked up...OMG 13.8 to a 14.1 how slow and ****ty! You'll never be able to compete

EDIT:

Nice comparison

Is it me or does the Corolla S look sportier with much cleaner lines. I'm sorry but I just couldn't drop $35K Canadian on such a mundane looking car as the WRX.

You can't get AWD through Chevy. It actually wasn't me who made the modding argument (since the fact is most people won't mod their car), I simply took it and applied it to other cars.
Why can't you make the WRX look good? Are body kits non-existent now? You can try to make the Ralliart perform well but you'll have to give up your warranty in the process.

Oh and it's 3/10s faster to 60, it's faster in the 1/4 mile and according to the R&T review it'll blow the doors off the Ralliart by the time it gets to 100 MPH. I love how the only argument people have against the WRX is it's "ugly". I'm sure Subaru is very worried about that when all the reviews absolutely love it for the performance.

I think there's a big difference between a "brief power brake" and a 6500 RPM clutch drop too ^^

Enjoy your tow truck ride home.

I'll admit that based on numerous reviews the wrx is a better performer, but when I go buy a car I want it to be something that I am also attracted. The wrx/sti doesn't do it for me. I would rather pay another grand or 2 for a car that, in my opinion, looks better and performs almost as well. I know there are things you can do that would make the wrx look better but I have always felt like appearance mods like body kits, hoods, and spoilers were a waste of money. Sure, they look better but thats just not a place I would want to dump money when it could be used to make the car faster or sound better (I'm into audio as well). And since I can't drive manual anyway my choice is more than obvious

Do you honestly think power braking a 10000$ automatic transmission is a good idea? Even if you discount the 0-60, the car is a better performer than the Ralliart.

Aside from that fact that a dual clutch transmission is not an "automatic" and that the mysterious $10k transmission quote came from some guy on this forum who never revealed his "source" other than to say some guy at a dealership told him it was $10,000 to replace...my point isn't to say the Ralliart is a better performer, simply to state that calling the RA "slow" all the time in comparison is baseless. I wouldn't be defending the RA if the performance difference was really that huge.

The price argument is also meaningless now that we've seen dealers are selling the base RA for $25k and the RA + Recaro for $27k.

Then they should be horrified about all the negative reviews of the STI which has got panned for soft handling and and general ugliness. The multiple engine recalls/stop sells, and major paint chipping issues haven't helped either.
