I just found out I have another kid on the way so I might as well wait for the 2010 model, maybe the hatch. I am so sad =(.

I don't know whether to congratulate you or not . How about this: Congratz with your upcoming child, I'm sorry about the delayed purchase.

Also I may have gotten confused about the prices I saw for Evo's out the door, but I think most that are selling around 30k are with SSS. I was talking base GSRs at discounted prices. I'll check again as I might have looked at used prices, but I'm pretty sure it was new GSRs.

Thanks for the congrats And thanks for your simpathy I only reply at work. I have been reading these threads for two and a half years for the humor of some peeps arguing the size of their intranet if you know what I mean and some of the true blues who acctully know there stuff. I decided to jump on because I saved enough for this car and was very interested, then ..... IT was Late. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH So until I know whats really going on and the test are back saying o **** its coming get a mini- van or oh **** you need to loose it due to the birth control and deal with my wifes emotional damage no one knows, but since I have been on this all month I might as well continue talking and having fun with this crew.

I think the hatch would be more fun to mod anyway. outside of that There is always time between the sheets. And if there isn't your wife or significant other is most likely cheeting. So make time and keep yourself happy Or she won't let you get that RA that you want Cause we all know who really gets the paychecks once you are married.

Back on topic. Does anyone know any of the specs on the trans or its limitations as posted by getran? Like max TQ or HP it can sustain safely? Has anyone seen a mitsu site that is letting you sample build the ra or ra hatch yet? (one thats not in japanese. Aust.; Brit.;?) Post a link if you can.

which is why mitsu dealers keep closing down..

I am okay with that as long we can get the prices we want. If its cheap enough I can still buy one. Even with the little tot on the way.

A thread just released that says they have it in NZ. =( We are now jealous. The link was posted to see it and they are still showing Electric Blue as a color option.

Neither the Japanese nor the NZ site have the burnt orange color so who knows what we are getting. I've seen pics of the blue at the Mitsu headquarters here. What I want is rally red for evos and ralliarts.

wow, that's insane for that car. GSR EVO's are going for 28k+ tax... mitsu has lost it. overpriced and underpowered.

mitsubish is just screwed..if you really look at it mitsu cant make a perfect price point..plain and simple..as far as the gap seems between the GTS and the evo X...its not big enough to put a car in between unless you lower the GTS price...or raise the evo price both of which most likely arent happening.

right now if you get a GTS sun and sound package with navi your at 23k roughly..granted mostly nobody will get the touring package which adds another 1.5k putting your GTS at 24.5k

then you have the RA..you start it at 26 with options ending up around 28 29..with the GSR "officially" starting at 32..

if you look at all that..mitsu is screwed with pricing before they even start..make it lower..you make it pointless to get a GTS..make it higher make it pointless to get an evo..thats why i think that the RA will always be SST only, making a maual will only cut more into evo numbers.

but in all i think you will always have those people no matter how close you make the RA to the evo..its not an evo and you will always have that crowed of people who wouldnt settle for less..i bet if you go in the evo forum and ask who all would have got a RA if it were 28k instead of their GSR i bet 90%+ would keep the evo
