Tuning Tech already has the car. Moreover, how are tuners more reputable than the numerous magazines that have tested the cars?

Tuning Tech had the car on a loan from MMNA. They didnt own the car. And considering they stopped posting on like the 2nd page of the original thread, nothing really came out of it. I have yet to see the two turbo sizes of the WRX and RA so if you know the trims etc. other then the TD-04 housing please share. And what about compression ratios, head flow, etc?Originally Posted by ambystom01

And also the magazines that test it dont strip it down to see what its made up of. Magazines are comprised of 40 something year old men who just sit in the drivers seat, take it out for a day around the track and collect paychecks from whatever auto company wants their car to sell.

The WRX uses the same turbo as the STI essentially albeit with some differences. From what I can tell, the Ralliart uses a turbo similar to the older WRX meaning a TD04-13T.
The average person isn't going to tear their car apart so I fail to see the point of that argument. As for suggesting that they're biased, considering they all seem to produce the same numbers (relatively speaking), that would be a lot of bribing on the part of their competitor.

You're right the average person and magazines wont, but the tuning shops will. Hence why i would trust their findings.Originally Posted by ambystom01

Why do their findings matter? I really don't understand how those figures are going to change your buying decision. I don't know anyone that bases their purchase on things like compression ratios, head flow, etc.

Lol, of course this thread got giant. Two kinds of threads get massive on evom, those where everybody says positive things about a Mitsubishi and those where people try to compare another car to a Mitsubishi.

well my friends, I gave into the awesome performance of the 09 WRX. I just went to pick it up. The car is awesome. You can feel the boost really pick up at 3k rpm.
I got the WRX premium in world rally blue. This is a huge jump for me since I had been driving a 96 corolla.
I would still love to test drive the Ralliart.

I dont get it. Wrx is not really that ugly, it is faster and simple add on kit would make it superb without risking any warranty on your powetrain. You have an MS3, MS3 looks almost similar to WRX hatch so you know right Originally Posted by TruboPower

only similar thing would be the shape from side on perspective other than that the front and rear look nothing like the ms3 lol..Evolved Member
