Cobb AP: ?s on product, features, and various maps incl Perrin maps go here [merge]
I currently have the latest Cobb AP firmware and running v101 Stage 1 MR. Under Live Data, there are (1) Abs. Pressure, (2) Barometric Pressure, and (3) Boost Pressure.
The first two works fine for me, but for some reason the Boost Pressure reading is always 0. Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Accuracy of AP Dyno feature
Just wondering if anyone has used the digital dyno feature on the Access Port. If so how close was it to your real dyno #'s. I used it the other day on a "closed course" so it was complete safe.
I dyno'd 341whp and 321wtq without a tune(mods in signature) and with the stage 2+ the Access port recorded 375whp and 409wtq. Again, this is just for Cobb users and people with Access port experience not trying to start a war here.
Thanks,
Jesse

Ok guys, little update on fuel... I went all over the place yesterday running errands.. A LOT of stop and go town driving, pulling in parking lots and running in and out, etc. I would say 65/35 highway/city, and around 75 miles total. Stage 1 still on car, average fuel ( from the computer ) 23.8 mpg, shifting at 2500 rpm and running 60 mph on the highway ( speed limit here is 55 ) I got on the car once REALLY hard, but other than that, it was easy driving.
After this tankful is out, I will flash to econ mode and reset the mileage and let you know the average.
Also did my first oil change yesterday at 1281 miles.

I'm kinda of a DIY kinda guy and I don't have the tools or skills to reach all the way up to the turbo to unbolt the down pipe and reinstall it. This is why I choose to avoid getting a downpipe. I wonder is it possible to just do a Testpiope/HFC swap along with the catback to use there Stage 2 maps.
Note: I ordered HKS's DP but haven't got it yet cause I thought you would need a tbe.

i don't understand why 2500? i have to shift at 3500+ just to get a smooth shift.
well then you are not letting the rpm's fall a little... my shifter was and is perfectly smooth in my car and I can shift at any rpm's and it is smooth, you just have to know how to do it. Also, if you are shifting at 3500, that's burning up that much more gas then you have to, and I am trying to be as consistant as I can be with the rpms so that it's not just guesswork.
The whole purpose for the gas info on the AP and the car itself is to show what you CAN get with it if you drive in a manner that saves gas, it would be stupid to say " oh man I only average 18 mpg " if i'm shifting at 5 or 6 grand everytime, it discourages people away from the car and that you can see decent numbers with it. We all know that it's fast, that's been proven time and again and with the AP even more so, now I want to see what we can squeeze out of the car when it comes to the gas numbers.

ok guys i got my MR back from cobb wednesday last week.It came out of there with a custom tune pushing right at 300whp and 317wtq. They say there little 0-60 time and quarter mile time thing is dead on. If so im doing 0-60 in 4.2(which when counting and timing multiple times seems to be dead on) my car is a completely different beast with the accessPort. Thanks COBB!

i thought about it several times but yesterday i had a IX on my bumper. good thing i wasn't using the econo mode.
edit: after reading the thread about the blue evo that was obliterated and the driver killed (not that i drive like that), i am now inspired to try the econo map. expect results around 5pm today.
