Im glad you went and got a retune. I'd love to see what gains an evo 8 with an hta35 will get with a retune. All in all you live and learn from your mistakes and somone had to be used as an example to bad we had to pay for it.

I'll accept an apology whenever.

With the way things are, I'm suprised people still try to take shortcuts. Especially in the business of performance cars, where there's so much competition.

Now im going to start of like this. Pete you definitely took things to far now by bringing me up in your threads so now I think its time to tell everyone all about the SCAMS of DG Motors.

First off me and Pete have been best friends for about 2 years now and I lost my job about 5 months ago so I went to Pete and said lets start selling parts and that I will take care of all the ordering and everything. He said ok. Now about a week ago he decides that i am not good for his business because i am into street racing(I will get flamed by some people for doing this). Well Pete what I do after hours is really not any of your business and a matter of a fact got you business. If it wasnt for Allens car(Evo a mula) racing MB racings evo on the street then you would have never gotten to get that 630whp pump gas evo x record.

No on to the DG Motors Drag car which at one time made about 850 on a 1.2CF. And then went and made i believe 917 on a 1.3CF which I told him not to do because if the car didnt go any faster then it did when it was making 850 then not only the shop would look bad but I would look bad because I was driving it.

And now the almighty DG Motors scam. The CF scam. I dont know why Pete always had to change around the CF. All I know is that I would constantly tell him not to do it because people are not stupid and will find out. His words to me are "Well some cars just need a little help with CF if there not making power". Now how is that fair to the customer.

Now Pete I know your going to come on here and say "Oh he lying" and "hes a idiot" but remember if you didnt become a alcoholic and a drug addict you might not be in the situation you are today. I told you drugs and alcohol are going to bring your business down but you didnt want to listen to your freinds. You might aswell not even come on and try to defend your self because theres many other incidents with cars that I can go into, but im not going to get into details yet.

On a final note Pete, you should just sell the dyno, quit and just continue to work on normal peoples crap because its pretty messed up what you have done to your fathers business that he worked so hard to build.

I have read through all of this and the other threads and am still in amazement that people don't do research about shops before they take their car there.

I haven't heard DG come forward and apologize for the CF scamming, lying to customers and forum readers and just try and make peace, but they just say ah screw them and we have more customers to handle, etc. The customer is always right, and you should make an effort to keep any business, even if they are a PITA or whatever. You should care about your reputation on these forums and in NY, because it will effect your future in this field and how successful you will be. I would recommend coming forward and saying you were sorry, made a mistake, fess up, and hopefully people will forgive you and you can build your reputation back up. Just putting things off as a bad customer, or as we have seen on evoM you say MANY "bad customers". Things haven't been going well for you, the CBRD rad thread, this, the CF thread, and a few more also, obviously things aren't going well with the shop, and its not like a half dozen guys teaming up, they all had legitimate problems with the work you performed.

Come forward, admit the mistake YOU made, take responsibility and build your rep back up with hard work and caring about what you put out of your shop.

Sorry for the long post, just trying to help them out and hopefully calm the tension in the thread. My thoughts on the subject.

WOW i am sooooo HAPPY i dont live near any of these corrupt evo shops. To much greed going on its sad. LOL i guess i better start doing my homework on evolution dynamics to make sure theres no BS going on in his side of the woods why cant you just do your job correctly nobody likes sloppy work late parts false information or the later. The economy sucks right now you should be fighting to keep EVERY single dollar you can. Thats the only way your going to keep the doors open not with dishonesty. Repeat customers are a +

We have our reasoning for using CF's in the past. The only time CF's were used were on our personal car, TJ's car to compare to ETS and their personal car, and 1 or 2 others. I have tried making amends with all camps.

As for Eric, it simply was not working out and I never thought he would come on here like that. I gave him a home in DG Motors, It simply was not working out. No hard feelings. Eric came into the shop earlier Today to pick up some of his things we have been storing for him for the past year now. The first thing I said was "hey man, whats going on? He walked right by me." Not only did he not say anything, he picked up a built sponsored cnc cylinder head my uncle and him put together a few weeks earlier. Eric was also getting a 33% cut on everything he sold our of our shop. Eric got laid off for unknown reasons at his old job and I took him on like a brother no questions asked. Does anyone know of anybody giving 33% of all profits? That was a gesture I did as brotherhood, He was like family to us. Slept at my house numerous times, I am his own son's godfather! I shouldn't have to say sorry for something that simply was not working out. I finally went to one of the illegal street races that are held every few days. 3 potential customers came up to me, took me aside and said" hey pete, no offense but the only reason we never came to your shop is because we don't trust Eric: 1. Because I don't want him working on my car, and 2. because I don't trust him with the numbers I will be making out of your shop. A long time ago Eric and I had a talk about street racing, DG Motors does not condone it nor do we want to be involved. At the end, Eric chose street racing and indirectly turned away potential customers. Business is business, friendship is friendship, but to turn on your own buddy that supported your family and gave you "let me say one more time, 33% of all profits!" is just beyond me and anything I would ever do.

That was not b.s. Eric is one of the best drivers around Long Island. I will put my word on that. I still want him to drive the drag car, he is damn good and he knows it. Eric went 9.06 @ 164mph in Ohio on his very first all out 1/4 mile pass. I have time slips and video to prove he went 9.06, 9.10 and 9.17 consecutively one after another at the nation buschur racing event in Ohio...
