The 272's lost 30whp up top but seemed like something was wrong. Then the customer got 280 crower cams in exchange and ended up making almost the same power as stock.

I had both the 272s and 280s. I know GSC Greg has measured a set back to back and the lobes where off. Ill have to ask Greg by how much.

judging by the specs i can find on the buddy club and pictures of the lobes, they look a lot like hks 272. It's hard to tell exactly without a cam card for them though, need to know duration @ 1mm. You should get the BR272 PJ since you got AEM and everything else.

I think its awesome you guys are doing the testing for the community. Big thanks!
I would like to know this also, but sadly I don't think it is. This was done on a built VIII, with a standalone. I think things would be drastically different for us on stock Ecu's and motors (and even more so for us with IX's ). Correct me if I'm wrong.

I wouldn't doubt it. I personally think they are crap.

FINALLY figured out how to order a Turbo mag back issue, link is here:
http://www.primediabackissues.com/Me...egory_Code=TUR

Part 1, I guess, was in the June issue which is off the stands now. Hope the Part 1 magazine dynos are in rpm, not mph like in this thread. The Part 2 magazine dynos are in rpm like they should be.
Part 2 (July issue) is on the stands now and it has only 2 cams, the FP4R and the BC3. They are tested at 22psi and 30 psi.
Has a good long article on valve train design for people who didn't do their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering project on cam design, like I did!
There will be a Part 3 article.

Gary
