Well i would have to say you are not completely right,

the fact that is a racing oil does not mean it shall not be used in a stock bottom end, the only advise should be that the oil must not be ran longer than 3k

and yes for racing purposes or anyone driving their car hard racing oil it is a better choice.

Just because it says 'racing' - doesn't make it better. Especially for street/strip use.

10W30, if you have anything less than 500 whp, you can also opt for the 15W50

Id say 10W30

After reading bits of the post and experience with oils Ive decided to go with Amsoil SAE 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil.Reason being is that racing oils dont have a long life i wouldnt go past 2k with them. Some of the racing oils are more expensive then the Amsoil.I can get 5k from the Amsoil not that im going to but its capable.Thats the whole reason synthetics were created.

If you can't order AMSOIL, then VR1 is probably your best bet. It isn't 100% synthetic but it does meet FP's standard for ZDDP. But being a racing oil you will need to change your oil more frequently.

As long as it's the AMO version, then yes.

ya i use the 20w50 lol.. good stuff. allowed me to run on 2-3 qts of oil until the motor just said **** you gimmie oil and decided to die on me.

most expensive mistake i think ive ever made in my life almost. new motors should have their oil checked every fuel fill up! dont be stupid like me and
think you can go 1000 miles and not check oil when cruising 65mph for 10hrs on toll.
