If I were you I would probably go a different route. Reminds me of the old saying "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

Maybe consider a HKS 7460 Kai. Supposedly the new version has solved the early issues that were causing failures.

You can get one delivered from rhdjapan for less than $2k http://www.rhdjapan.com/hks-actuator...ishi-4g63.html

I think rhdjapan will price match, here is a listing for US $1,651.34, so probably less than $1900 delivered (not bad for a BB turbo). http://www.nengun.com/hks/gtii-sport...e-7460-kai-kit

Sure someone is going to chime in and says how difficult it is to get HKS to honor warranty work, but judging by your recent experience with Blouch I don't see that being any different.

Nengun shows "discontinued" for 8/9.

The non-KAI versions are discontinued, the HKS part number is the same for 4-9 (11004-AM003) and is what Nengun shows as 5/6. Rhdjapan correctly shows part number 11004-AM003 for 4-9. You can also confirm that on the HKS homepage.

You could get a brand new JB FP green or Red for $1099.00
http://www.forcedperformance.net/mer...e=Lancer-Turbo

Though it requires a new downpipe and wastegate.

He has a good CHRA, compressor, and turbine housing. He can upgrade it a green for less than $1k..

Why can't you? Is the CHRA not an Evo 9 oem unit?

If your hotside housing is not damaged, FP should be able make an MHI Green for you.

Talked to fp they will not be able to use my mhi from blouch for a fp red because of the machine work when using the blouch turbine.

HKS also sells replacement CHRA and other parts. So not a bad option I think

Seems odd. The FP turbine wheel is much larger diameter than the Blouch 1.0 turbine wheel. Perhaps the depth is larger for the Blouch.
