New stock frame turbo options from Blouch
Dont buy blouch turbos they are crap. Maybe that is why cbrd stop working with them. I have to find a new turbo and it wont be from blouch. They gave me excuses for what went wrong but obviously they did not see it was on them. I was told the hotside was put together wrong.which wasn't allowing the wastegate close all the way. So therefore it is my fault and it isn't under warranty. I open the box and installed it. Soooooo it could've been ma performance when they ported the turbo. Who knows now i am out 1800. So chad what turbos you have for sale?

Definitely falls on MAPerformance. Question is whether you documented the condition of the turbo as it arrived from MAP. That might be a key factor in dealing with MAP.
i don't get how the hotside wasn't put on correctly. there's a pin to line up the housing to the CHRA. if the pin is not line up, it wouldn't seat correctly and would leak. also if it was clocked wrong, the compressor housing would be pointed in wrong location and the outlet would be hard to get on the LIC. sounds like they just making up excuse to void warranty.
crbd has badass EFR kits now.

Also, how the heck do you install an MHI hotside incorrectly? If Blouch was smart, they'd have some kind of forum presence because a post like that can kill sales.
Is your hotside still good? Maybe you could you use it with a 71HTA chra? http://www.forcedperformance.net/mer...Category_Code=

The clamp may not have been sufficiently tight, allowing the hotside to wiggle, come loose, and bend the pin or wallow the housing. Eventually it would contact the turbine wheel. I've seen an example of it happening, so I know its possible.
FP even recommends to make sure the band clamp is tightened prior to installing. It's unfortunate but quite possibly the reason.

Blouch is a good company- we had our ups and downs like any company- but they are a manufacturer- and do not have a strong web presence- that is what CBRD brought to the table on our partnership-
Give everyone a chance to work through it!
