The heat situation and the volute are pretty much the only reason the free is on my radar since that's eliminated with the as housing.

Dallas is about the only real results I've seen so far for the blouch stuff.
I would recommend BB for a track turbo due to durability- the JB is much more prone to bearing failure due to lack of oil etc-

Also-

as for results- again- I would look to our previous bbk full bbk-b results- there isnt enough different on the turbos to make a measurable change in performance!

And my results were literally 4 dyno pulls to get a baseline last minute since I did a FMIC, o2 housing, S1 cams, 2.3L, and 1.0XTR since the last dyno and had a national tour in a week.

On a normal heat day with a bit of work on holding boost but keeping torque under 425 I'm pretty sure we would have hit 480hp and under 28psi peak and 25psi redline.

Also, as MrFred has talked about before and experienced, These turbos really want a solid performing BOV to control lift surge on track.

So I think I'd be after the 2.0xtr. Just curious to see what longevity/reliability is, but that's probably going to take a lot more time unfortunately
my fp red bb did 320 whp (mustang) at 14 psi. i had to port out the wastegate port to get rid of the boost creep that was 25 psi. it also did 430 whp at 26 psi on 93 pump. the turbo still for sale btw

Do you think something like feeding oil from the filter housing would help? How did the exhaust housings hold up to track use in your experience?

Dallas-is blouch using true oem 10.5 hot sides?

Well the blouch 1.0xt did not last long guys......lets see how blouch will do on warranty now. I am pushing 500hp 475lbs of torque on e85 and 415 hp 409tq on 91. I have smoke blowing out my tail pipe and some metal sounds bouncing around inside the turbo somewhere

I think its more of a starvation issue that needs to be solved with a better oil pan, crank scraper, Kiggly HLA.

Not sure you'll have much luck if you were pushing 500 whp and 475 ft-lbs on E85. That's outside what the turbo was meant to do. I know we all push turbos, but just saying. Even FP has a statement that says something to the effect that overspinning the turbo voids the warranty.

I predict them saying you broke it. 500whp is pushing that turbo beyond its intended limit...

It is tuned for it 500hp I dont race nor drag it. Just drive it back and forth to work about 20 miles a day sometimes. Mostly on pump gas because there is no e85 where I live, The nearest is over 90 miles from where I live . When I go out of town is when I get e85 Only for commuting.

500hp on virtual dyno?

My3B (2.0) made 500whp on a mustang dyno at 25 psi on 93.
The number don't jive, PSI would have to be much higher....
