Exactly what I wanted.
Did I miss the link to the 2.3 dyno chart?

What clutch?

ACT XTSS with full face organic disc. It held up great to a lot of AutoX launches for both mine and BrianAWD's 2.3 w/HKS turbo.

that plot curve looks fun for ax/street use/track duty

Has anyone had results with a 2.0XTR yet? I'm debating wether to go with the 1.0XTR or the 2.0XTR on my 2.4 and would prefer the best balance between a wide power-band and a turbo that doesn't fall off up top.

I would def do a 2.0xtr or FP red on a a 2.4L. You'll might still fall off a little bit up top unless your head and manifolds flow really well. On 2.4, a 3.0xtr might be a good idea..

2.0. Read 94AWDcoupe's review of the 2.0 on his 2.3. It made me end up going with the Red. 2.0 is still a great turbo though. Can't go wrong with it.

1.0 is way too small a turbo for a 2.4.

Pretty sure the 2.0XTR is identical to the BBK 3B. And mrfred is running one on his 2.0L

From riding in MrFred's car, it seems to start doing stuff around 3500 and really hits at 4k. For anything but AutoX I thought it felt perfect. If AutoX is your thing (like it is mine) then it would probably be too big.

I've also heard that if you don't plan on running over 30psi then the 2.0/3b just isn't going to give you much over the 1.0/full.

It's for track not auto x. I need something than can do anywhere from 360whp up to say 430whp. Some of the fp stuff can't be easily turned down to numbers that low (class dictated), and that's why I was about to by a bbk...

So I think I'd be after the 2.0xtr. Just curious to see what longevity/reliability is, but that's probably going to take a lot more time unfortunately

What fuel? 430whp is 1.0xt territory no problem on E85, and maybe even 93 octane gas..

Pump 93, and otherwise stock motor (exhaust/intercooler). The goal is a turbo that isn't stressed at these levels to minimize enervating extra heat. I reeeeaaalllly want the cbrd efr kit but I don't feel like sling an organ.

I also totally forgot about the fp green...could do a jb setup with stainless housing for cost of the 2.0xtr...

I think the 2.0XTR will do a bit better than the 1.0XTR boost-for-boost, but obviously will depend on target power level. Since the turbines are identical, key aspect is going to be where the compressor is sitting in its efficiency range. I would think that at 430 whp, the 2.0XTR is going to be closer to its peak efficiency island than a 1.0XTR.

All the stock frame options won't last a real long time on the track because the heat will eventually cause the TS divider to crack. I do know of one person who killed two 3Bs on the track, but he was running max power (500+ whp on E85). If you keep to 430 whp on E85, I think it would do as good as anything else.

I really like my BBK-3B responsiveness is awesome, but it needs a good DV to work best.

I'm not convinced that in a road course setting transient response is going to make any huge difference, so I'm therefore not convinced I need a bb turbo. I'd much rather run a turbo under peak efficiency than over stress it obviously, that's why I'm interested to see exactly what the 1.0 can do. The heat situation and the volute are pretty much the only reason the free is on my radar since that's eliminated with the as housing.

Dallas is about the only real results I've seen so far for the blouch stuff.
