At this rate, the next new hot thing will be out before we see any results.

I don't get what takes so long to install a turbo. I had "results" from my red within a week of delivery. And that was within 3 weeks of ordering the damn thing.

Right. Installing a turbo and tuning can be done in a day, assuming the person doesn't have a load of other parts to install/be delivered. Odd that not one person who ordered this has posted results.

I was at a shop today and they were tuning an FP Black. Results weren't what they were looking for, so I'm pretty sure that owner isn't going to run home and post results on the interwebs.

Or, he's like me and things take an inordinate amount of time for whatever reasons

What didn't they like? Too laggy, or don't make the power they were expecting?

It wasn't making the power you'd expect out of a Black. I was only there for a few minutes, so I have no idea what the issue is/was or if they figured it out while on the dyno.

My only point is that anything can happen with a car, especially with a newly released turbo.

Sorry I missed this. It is being tuned on ECMlink v3 via Six Sigma Tuning (Kevin Jewer). He had it running great in a couple tries. I had to fix a couple things before we could go any further (BISS was seized, and had to fix a boost leak I created when I pulled the throttle body to fix the BISS). Now we are having an issue with it going lean on tip in that seems mechanical but haven't figured it out yet.

The car will be going to him soon to have the head rebuilt, this will give him a chance to work out this leaning issue as well.

So, after 19 pages, what we've learned is:
nobody, with any possible way to measure results, has purchased this turbo. LOL

You have EvoScan? Download Virtual dyno and do some pulls to upload into it. You can get pretty reliable numbers from.

You could also post datalogs so we can see where it hits peak boost.

You're probably making about 250whp, but you should DEFINITELY download virtual dyno and post up the results so we can confirm it for sure

My guess is somewhere in the 400-450whp depending on how good your gas is, and how much meth you're spraying. But I've never seen this turbo in action, and I don't know the rest of your setup, so purely guessing.

Same here around 400 to 450whp. I heard a dyno shop will be opening end of this year yesss! But there will be a lot of results by then lol
