And I could be wrong, but I don't think there is room to fit bigger than a 7163 in the OEM location for the Evo 8/9. I think the Evo X has a lot more room for things on the back of the engine.
Yes you're limited big time for a factory location EFR because the length of the turbos creates downpipe problems.

LOL I've been driving mine for a while. Even did a track tune on e85. Very happy with it, though I'm still curious how the smaller turbine would do.
