Try a couple different dealers, thats total bullshat.

I hate dealers like that.

I don't know what the chain of command is at a dealer, but i'd for sure write a letter to someone.

Email the Mitsubishi Corporate office and let them know the situation and the dealerships that refuse to do warranty work. I have learn that these days everything works on emails not like the old days when word of mouth was justify.

I had the SAME thing happen to me about 2 months ago. I went to the dealer..they looked at it and said all of the thing u can think of such as: "its made that way"...."we see swirl marks from someone sanding" ..."its because you park it outside during the day" ect. I went home and called MMoA headquarters and they had the dealer call me and say that they were having a rep come take a look. I went and the regional rep got me a new spoiler. I was surprised how easy it was but it worked. I didn't expect it to work i was just doing it because I was mad. Hope it works out for you ..good luck

My Mitsu dealer said they'd replace it, but that the wings are on back order so that It would be quite a while before they get it in...:P And they're still waiting on the caliper peeling decision from MMA.

That doesn't matter. It happens no matter what you do.

They've replaced my wing twice and i'm on my third one.

well said.

do not let the dealer get away with this crap. Then find another dealer to get the car fixed properly.

I'm having the same problem too... my dealer told me they'd cover it on a case-by-case basis.... If you look up Mitsu's warrantee info.... it technically isn't covered. According to the warantee, any kind of peeling can be caused by waxes, cleaners, etc. So according to MM... if you wash your car with soap, it could be the cause of the CF wing peeling. I think most dealerships will see past this though and warrantee it. Good luck.

Guys.. im having the same issue.. I have two really bad spots now... I dont know what im supposed to do because i have 60K on the 2003 now.. I guess my question would be what exactly is this covered under?.. I mean its almost like corrosion! Since it really is part of the paint of the car, and its going to flake away shouldnt they replace it under the corrosion warranty?.. how long does that last for.

I'm getting mine replaced too but it's on back order.

I have a question to someone who already got it replaced.
Did they replace the whole wing? Is there anyway that they can replace the center piece? I really don't want them change the whole thing and not match the paint of the car and the wing.
I head the vertical painted part of 03 is carbon fiber but after 04 is not. Is that true?
