Nice to see some more dealerships coming around. I had my wing, calipers, steering wheel, and hood vent all replaced under warranty. No fuss, the dealership was just as nice as they could possibly be.. had some other warranty work done also. heater controls sticking, fan switch recall..

dang that sux.. My dealership actually mentioned that they noticed my calipers and that they'd go ahead and order all 4 new ones. My wing was so bad that the carbon fiber was starting to show through the clear. I recomend going to another dealership. I didn't even purchase my car thru this dealership, but they have helped me out with no hassle.

Ask your local dealership.

Not using the Search feature will void your warranty j/k If you do a simple Search you will find this info. It is different by dealer but you can get a pretty good idea by searching. I know my warranty would be voided but I want to play so I am ok paying when I brake something.

Best of luck

Don't ask the dealer but it kinda depends on the dealer though.

The best suggestion is to put only parts the can be easily switch back with the stock parts.

I would limited it to a bolt on exahust and intake, BOV ok. If you have any problems switch it back to stock.

Oh yea if you do in mod please get the car properly tuned. Or you will have problems.

Since you are in SoCal, take the drive to Huntington Beach Mitsu. They are more freindly to the EVO community when it comes to warranty work on modded cars than most other dealers.

I bought mine there. They rebuilt my '04 RS gearbox on warranty, even though the car was heavily modded including ACT clutch.

Youre better off leaving it stock, if youre worried about voiding the warranty. Its just not worth the hassle. Im sure Mits will use any excuse they can to nullify your warranty.

There is no wire splicing with an MBC. Yes, that will void your warranty in a heartbeat if they see it. Yes, you can uninstall it before going in; that's what I do.
