That's crazy!! You're serious right... you do have the factory MR BBS wheels? You bought the car from them too? They SUX!!

As for the alignment...and the tires wearing out prematurely, do you know what caused that? Are they saying that maybe you hit a pot hole or something that threw it off? If so, it's probably not going to be covered under warranty. If you truly believe that it's a defect then I personally think you have a ligimate claim.

Then again... we only have heard your side of the story.

You should take that to the media, to lawyers, to MMNA, etc etc etc. That is a travesty and should NOT be let go...

Your dealer should be using mobil 1 in your free maintenance, mine always has. I would make them so it since you paid for it.

I haven't took my car in for the free service because they do not put syntheic motor oil for the change. I'd bet that dealer already voided your warrentee from not putting mobil1 synthetic

Expensive Warranty work!?

What do you guys normally pay for warranty work? i know my car is having misfires right now because of the plugs...i brought my car into mitsubishi this morning because of an appointment at 9. I also told them that my guages were getting dimmer than before....THEY QUOTED ME $156!!!!! i dont understand why i have to pay that much for something i could have done myself!? is it true if i change the plugs myself it would void warranty? is there something i dont know!? what the ****...i dont feel like paying 156 bucks for lightbulbs and sparkplugs...i could have used that money for a full maintenance service...help me guys!

You don't pay for warranty work...that's why it's called a warranty. I've never paid them anything for the work they have done on my car. I've taken it in quite a few times for tranny work too.

well, its not exactly warrenty work. the plugs and bulbs are items that wearout. The plugs are 11.75 each, and the bulbs in the dash are $2-3 each. So we'll say it cost you $60 in parts. $80/hr for labor... and you see where this is going. Sounds like you didn't get screwed too hard.

$78/hr for labor is pretty good. I believe $80/hr is the norm.
