no, in accordance to the manguson moss act aftermarket parts installed correctly cannot void factory warranties unless the aftermarket part is the direct cause of the service issue.

Correct Manguson Moss Act - if the part you added broke something that it was related to the warrenty item they they will not cover it. Like Apexi S AFCII and you have engine problems, they will say the S AFCII caused the problems. If you have a cat-back and you have a warped rotor, then they have to cover the rotor.
I just got a brand new engine and I had an HKS intake and Bushur Racing Turbo back w/ hi flow cat. There was piston slap and scored cylinders in 3 and 4. They warranteed it, but it was up to the Mitsu inspector that they sent.
It depends on the dealership. An exhaust is connected to the leg bone, the leg bone is connected to the hip bone, etc. Becareful. If you're really worried about the warranty, keep the stock exhaust and if something happens just put it back.

Clutchs are a wear item, so if you burn threw one after 12K then you have to pay for it anyway. As far as internals I believe that would be a stretch to void a synco (or something) problem due to a cat back.

Your in NY pal, I would put $100,000 that they will void your warranty for it. The district rep aroud here is a real dirtbag, you have mods, you have no warranty. Believe me I know.

would have a case for voiding the tranny warranty as the tranny is only guaranteed to handle stock power levels. Is that correct?
