That is the contradictory statement I have ever heard. Everyone here knows how the dealership can link a broken windshield wiper to A turbo timer. lol not exactly I am a little overdoing it i Know but all in the same

Yup. I'm a cheap bastard, and I ended up buying a beater to get around having to worry about the warranty. BTW, if a bov is the only mod you plan on getting, its not worth voiding the warranty. If you're gonna void it, you should at least get a flash or an safc I (something that will actually give you power)

How does a SAFC produce power - >> is that a boost controller? Sorry, new to the terminology.

Extended Warranty Claims

Anyone ever file one? I'm curious as to how they work.

Do they just send out a representative to the shop where your car is being worked on, or do they just take the word of the licensed shop/dealer and cut you a check for the amount?

Thanks

on very small things they dont send an adjuster out, but anything over 300 they will... those guys usually dont know what they see and wont be able to tell if its stock or not half the time...

Most likley they will not send anyone out to look at the vehicle but they will ask the service advisor if the car is modified and what caused the part to fail. If the part that failed is covered you most likley will not have a problem as long as your advisor is ok. And from my experience the ajusters are not stupid and can tell if a car is modified.
