haha, you know, that's just beyond absurd. . .what dealer did you buy from? Man I love Gilman out here, I figured they're lenient because I bought my car from them, maybe you should take it to a dealer you bought from. . .

My car through a CEL early as well, they covered it immediatley with no questions. . .I had an antennae, intake, and ABM at the time. . .I wish they'd kind of standardize this ****.

That really sucks man!
I was shocked when i took my car in for an oil change the other day and the service guy came right out and asked me if i wanted a new wing under warranty. i didnt even bring it up he just came out and asked if i wanted one. i just kind of stared at him for a second then said i guess because i was so shocked. i guess there are some good dealers.

Maybe you should see if you could get it towed to the dealer you bought it from. Or call the dealer you bought it through and tell them what is going on. If they are good then they will help you.

I got dinged for taking the cover off the air cleaner box. Took the EVO in for it's regular scheduled maintenance oil change and simply forgot to latch it back on. Was told that it was a violation of warranty, but the maintenance guy was cool enough to put it back on for me. I could only imagine what would of happened if I rolled in with an HKS intake system... or even worst... A K&N drop in filter.

Sorry to hear that! I usually just have the mechanics at my shop look at my car haha.. but yea.. I havent really been treated well by dealers.. so I really refuse to go to them unless it's absolutely necessary for them to fix it.

Talking 45K Service

I got my 45K service done at Countyline Mits and I told them that I did not need an air filter becuase I had the K&N. They said fine and gave me a 20% discount for not going to Shelton Mits which is much closer to me.

Now that is service!

I even talked to the sales rep and they said I could do the intake without viding the car, but don't touch the exhaust.

Nice to know a good dealer!
