Warranty Issues <Mega Merge>
Technically they could if they wanted. It's really up to the dealership. All of them act differently to mods. Why don't you just change the oil yourself? It's easy and will save you some money.
i bring my evo in for an oil change all the time at my dealer (free maintenance program) and they never say a word about my mods, the salesman actually come out and always ask for a ride lol but i guess it could vary by dealership

im pretty sure you can change it yourself and it wont matter... most people dont check for that stuff. they are more concerned with how hard the car was modded, and driven, not so much the documentation of an oil change when most people do them theirselves to save money
Here's my recommendations concerning ANYONE's concern about warranties:
No dealership, nor a regional manufacturer's representative, nor a manufacturer can EVER void an entire vehicle's warranty. It's against the law.
Lookup the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the Clean Air Act Warranty Provisions.
Any of the above mentioned parties can only refuse to honor an individual warranty claim on a singular item IF AND ONLY IF the problem resulting in the replacement of said part was solely as a result of a given modification.
If there is no direct cause and effect, the warranty claim must be honored.
If the dealership refuses, get a lawer.
It's quite sad that dealerships try to "flex" their muscles into scaring people not to modify their vehicles as though they actually have the authority to partially or fully void a warranty. They don't. Anyone that actually gives in to such an abuse of (non-existent) power needs to get a backbone and stand up for themselves.
The laws exist to protect the customer, not the dealership nor the manufacturer.
If the items of concern aren't related, don't worry about it.
End rant!
