Hey guys, i work for Mitsubishi. There is about an 80% chance that Mitsu will have a RS edition Evo, however the 2004 Evo's will be no different than the 2003.

 

80% chance. uh.. so is it the same 80% chance they're going to MSRP at $26,695?

 

That is correct.. The car will be very light and very fast... The owner here at the dealership I work at is on the board for production of the vehicle.. He was part the reason that the are going to do it.

 

Tell your buddy if he wants to sell evo's he might think about passing along to the other Evo Board Members offering a few more simple additions to the car. cruise, all 4 windows auto up and down, SMT, 6spd, etc. I wonder how many of the 500 "pure" Evo's are going to be sitting on the lots wasting away... I'll just enjoy some margaritaville until they clue in.

 

the only thing that I would think woudl be sweet to add is a wrc type paddle shift and that MR edtion gray color other than that I think the evo is a great car why change it. just my thouhgts

 

I think folks know what they are (Evo8) but are not willing to take the risk and purchase one. I was all set to buy one but the more educated I got, the less I wanted to own one. Evo is on hold until Mits can prove to me their automobiles are superior.

 

I read about the euro 6 spd box earlier this year & I can not find the article to validate this info, but I remeber comparing the article to our GB data & gears 1st-4th are the same as ours, 5th is closer to 4th (gap gear) & 6th is your overdrive.

The final drive was the same as ours as well = ****ty launches!

 

When the Evo 8 was released Mitsu's reps at the car shows anounced that the car would not change for 2004...it was in quite a few mags and the car TV shows on Spike TV...and several people that have said they worked at Mitsu have posted the same thing on this board...

No offense, but you stupid SMt option is kinda lame. How much would you like to pay for the car in the end? Why would the develope or waste the money developing that item for the american market? No one wants cruise, you want cruise get a galant. Mitsubishi is smart from a marketing standpoint. ahh every post you say the same options. blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, no smt. no cruise. go buy an m3.

** note, this is not a personal attack, just sick of this smt and cruise BS.

 

Whats the dif between the EV0 RS and the regular EV0? Can someone give me the details of their differences?
