That was a Prodrive STI. I am not sure what it has but most of the other Prodrive STI's I have seen have modified suspension as well as more power so that would help through the corners. But I could be very wrong.

So that has to be good news to all Evo VIII owner.
He will be testing the EVO VIII (japan spec) in the next few weeks, but news like that puts a smile on my face as for next time I'm at the lights next to a STI I can just shake my head
and say to myself go on make my day!!!

I've read car reviews comparing STI's and EVOs going back several generations when they've just arrived on the scene and it's always the same story. You'll inevitably find just as many journalists who like the EVO as like the STI.. so I wouldn't get your knickers in a twist over it..
..to each his own.

Here is something that should indicate my opinion of F1:
If I had to pick ONE of the two for my imaginary racing resume...
A. One mediocre F1/WRC race result.
B. 3-time Winston Cup champion _OR_ 3 Indy 500 wins
I would pick "A" in a heartbeat...

AUTOCAR Magazine Road Test EVO VIII vs STi
I thought some folks would enjoy this article. Even given the fact that this test is of the european version of the two cars, I still think it gives a good representation of how they match up against each other.

Hope the pics show....should be five in all.
