Evo vs. STI | Anything and Everything [ALL THREADS MERGED]
Yeah, but in the broschure, they also have a page that says bigger than anything else in the sales pitch, "Go forth and modify" The claim that they will not cover anything is in the corner of the VERY SAME PAGE! But us us really really small. WTF?
exactly lol. they can wait for everybody to bring in their cars for engine / transmission damage and failure that can be blamed on aftermarket mods even though they might not have caused them.

one of the best mods you can do to ur evo is the turbo back exhaust with either hiflow cat or testpipe and o2 simulator. there is no way in hell that a part like this would be covered underwarranty by any aftermarket manufacturer - and from what ive seeen ralliart doesnt offer items like downpipes and boost controllers. or ecu upgrades - all which void your warranty. they dont seem to have an intercooler kit either, that might not void your warranty - also might not make a big difference with mostly stock parts.
ralliart suspension maybe the best bet because its not half *** like the engine parts . also other miscellaneous pointless parts for rallying that a street car wouldnt need would be good items as well, cuz i doubt other companies are gona make "gaurds" for the undercarriage and hi-power alternators.

would offer Ralliart upgrades and not include warranty. Would seem rather senseless to do so.
subaru doesnt offer a warranty on their sport parts for the sti and explicitly say that they void ur warrantee - and they will even install them for you at the dealer. - of course most dealers will fix any problems that arise even if you have aftermarket parts - its just the fact that if the dealer doesnt want to fix it, they DONT have to.
again, any parts covered underwarranty by ralliart wouldnt even really be that big of an improvement - mostly beginnner parts like cat back exhausts and intakes - no 20g turbo upgrades or full 3inch turbo back exhausts or boost controllers or ecu upgrades (lets pray they do make these) - these are where the real power is.....

STi: They liked a lot the DCCD, comfortable sport seats, grips like spiderman, found bizarre there were no radio, understeered sooner than they thought.
0-60 -- 4.87
1/4 mile -- 13.23@104.6
Braking 60-0ft -- 111
Evo:
0-60 -- 4.59
1/4 mile -- 13.08@105.1
Braking 60-0ft -- 106
Could someone verify this? Someone posted this on nasioc. I'll verify myself when i get the magazine!
Is this for real? Or is this guy joking. 13.08 "wow!"
