Quote: Do you think Polyolefin is good enough, or do we need PTFE or FEP heat shrink?
Do PTFE to be safe. Its not expensive.

I used Polyethylene. Specifically TEMCo 3/8" Diameter HD 3:1 Glue Lined as they claim it to be fuel and oil resistant. They also make fuel storage drums out of polyethylene.

Has anyone took their Buschur double pumpers and swapped in 450s? And if so was it a pretty straight forward install?

- It will not achieve this performance with the puny OE fuel line.

- It will not achieve this performance with the very undersized OE power and ground wiring scheme.

But that's (the above diagram) NOT installed in a car, that's just a testbench test.

Nevertheless, if the fuel feed is sufficiently sized such that it poses minimal resistance (e.g. AN -8), and voltage at the pump is verified under load, installed performance will closely match testbench results.

Got it done!
So everything went well. My fuel pump didn't go all the way in bec the black rubber part is still visible even though I trimmed the housing and added my o rings. I'm still on my previous tune but I added a bigger turbo and the walbro 450. Car idles good, did one pull in 3rd gear and afr's were at 13-15@ wot. But the car feels great and the turbo feels great. Afr's were in the 10s before I added the walbro. Hoping to be tuned soon. I'll update if I'm leaning out bec of the black rubber piece not being in all the way.

After doing this my car only cranks and will not start...💔 I turn on to on position and crank it for half a second and can hear the pump prime. I sprayed carb cleaner and it turned on for one second... my fuel rail is dry aswell any ideas?????

Leaking in the assembly probably. The black plug on the bottom of the sending unit reservoir is my guess. All the housings I've modded for a 450 I have put two extra o-rings on it.

I get fuel in the rail not passed injectors now. I've tested injectors separately and they all work fine also tested fuel pump and all relays everything except ecu. My tuner said it can prob be ecu since that's what controls injectors? Any ideas?
