575 whp is right at the limit of what a 1250 cc/min injector can support with E85, so 90-100% IDC would be expected. Cool. I'll take that as a good indicator that the pump can support up to 575 whp on an otherwise stock fuel system. Makes me happy since my goal is about 550 whp.

This isn't in regards to your question about wiring but i know of someone who has maxed the 450 out on a rewire. Think it was around 700hp. I'd say if you wanted to go over 600 i'd just do the rewire.
Mine is currently rewired on the stock fuel rail and 2150's and functions fine. I drilled the siphon out slightly to 9/64.

My 450 has been working flawlessly, I'll be at the Dyno this coming Wednesday just to find the limit of this pump before i switch to a bigger external pump, my Evo already did 558hp on pump gas, just curious as to see what the very limit is on E85, my set up is 2.4 LR , PTE 6466, FIC 2150s, Walbro 450 rewired with -8an feed and -6an return, Fuel lab reg. I'll post results.
Needless to say i'm surprised this pump flows this much, left the boost at 31 psi, idc was 88%, obviously compensating for the pump, dyno was a Mustang dyno but is set up to read as a Dynojet. 2.4 LR , PTE 6466, FIC 2150s, Walbro 450 rewired with -8an feed and -6an return, Fuel lab reg, ETS 4" intercooler.
mrfred, that's what my goal is as well I guess ill be giving this pump a whirl, as opposed to a $500 double pumper. These pumps on ebay are $140? Compared to some vendors that's ridiculous... anyone get one from ebay?

I'd be surprised if the E85 version could be had for $140. My guess is that you're seeing the pump gas version for $140. Its performance pales in comparison to the E85 version.
It shows it as the 267 pump... http://www.ebay.com/itm/WALBRO-E85-RACING-FUEL-PUMP-F90000267-450LPH-IN-TANK-W-INSTALL-KIT-/170945680470?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27cd281456&vxp=mtr

I've been using this pump for over a year now no issues the only issue was that the guy who installed didn't cut the tip of the pump and my grommet split on half and my pressure went down. I have the stock fpr and at idle the pressure in the rail is 60psi and that's with the siphone drill at max size you can. I'm installing a fpr so I can bring the pressure down to 45psi but is a great pump overall and is rewire by the way.
Question: When cutting the connector off the pump, could you put flat spade connectors on the wire and plug them into the black connector on the pump housing, or would it cause problems? Exposed connector? too much wiring to fit?
